About Corbin Krogue
My name is Corbin Krogue and I am 12 years old. This is my fourth year in 4-H, and I am a member of the Maine Prairie 4-H Club in Dixon, California. For my project this year I am raising several market lambs as well as growing my breeding flock.
Currently I have two market wethers that will be selling at the Dixon May Fair and the Solano County Fair Livestock Auctions. My breeding flock has grown to six ewes, which will all be bred this spring and are expected to lamb in the fall. I am excited because their lambs will be perfect for my market project next year.
I really enjoy raising, feeding, and training my lambs. Through this project I am learning responsibility, hard work, and how to properly care for livestock. I am also excited about the upcoming lambing season because I hope to start showing competitive sheep of my own flock.
2026 Dixon May Fair Show Schedule
I will be showing in both Showmanship and Market Classes on Thursday, May 7th at 9:00 a.m. in the Sheep Show Ring at the Dixon May Fair. I would be honored if you would come watch and support the youth livestock program.
